Sunday Morning Teams

Greeters & Coffee Hosts

Two-Three families are designated each Sunday to serve as coffee hosts and greeters (one family for each service). Greeters/coffee hosts will be notified by mail of their Sunday assignment.

Note: If you are unable to serve on your assigned Sunday, you are responsible for finding your own substitute. Service groups are posted on church bulletin boards and in the newsletter.

Church Committees

Committees meet at 6:30 PM on the second Tuesday of each month (usually 1 hour). No meetings in July.

Board of Deacons & Elders

The governing board of the church. Determines all matters of policy and has jurisdiction over all groups within the church, subject to the action of the congregation.

“O come, let us worship and bow down...” — Psalm 95:6-7

Worship & Music

Recommends times and places for worship, schedules sacraments (Baptism/Lord’s Supper), and supervises the music ministries of the church.

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” — Mark 12:31

Caring Ministry & Outreach

Supports pastoral care ministries and coordinates congregational care for members and visitors. Oversees the Parish Nurse and Stephen Ministry programs.

Christian Education & Youth

Provides for Christian nurture through education programs and cross-generational relationships. Manages the Van Dyken scholarship fund for high school seniors.

Mission Committee

Develops programs for members to serve Christ in our church, our community, and the world.

“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due God’s name...” — Psalm 96:8

Stewardship Committee

Promotes joyful stewardship of resources. Directs the annual campaign (starting in late September) and coordinates pledging and contributions.

“For no one can lay any foundation other than... Jesus Christ.” — 1 Cor 3:10-11

Board of Managers

Oversight for all property owned by the church, payment of bills, and financial obligations of the congregation.

“...so that you may have fellowship with us...” — 1 John 1:3a

Fellowship Committee

Seeks ways to bring the congregation together for fun, connection, and fellowship events.

Nominating

Matching gifts to ministry.

Seeking and nominating individuals to serve on the governing board and committees.

Personnel

Coordinates staff relationships, benefits, and staffing needs of the congregation.

🎨 Youth & Children's Ministry

Kidz Club

Wednesdays 3:45-5:00 PM

Assist with crafts, games, snacks, or group supervision with Pastor Karen.

Confirmation

Wednesdays 4 PM & 6:30 PM

Assist Pastor Doug and Pastor Karen in teaching 7th-9th graders the truths of our faith.

Youth Group

Wednesdays 7:30-9:00 PM

Connect with high school students. One-time volunteers also needed for events.

🎶 Worship & Music

Senior Choir

Wednesdays 7:00 PM

More voices are always welcome! Sept-May, singing during Sunday service.

Bell Choir

Wednesdays 6:00 PM

Anyone with a basic music foundation is welcome to join rehearsals.

Praise Band

Use your vocal or instrumental gifts to lead the congregation in praise.

If you have repair or maintenance skills and would like to be added to our list for occasional projects, please call the church office.
